There is no doubt: in order to be able to push a 911 Turbo to its limits, more than a skilled hand is required. This was all the more true for the very first sports car series with a turbo engine, since the 930 enabled a previously unknown power delivery.
What is the so-called "turbo effect"? If the performance in the lower speed ranges is almost identical to that of a conventional 911 - there is increased torque from around 4000 revolutions: When you press the accelerator pedal, the Porsche 930 and its conspecifics accelerate again considerably.
