The R32 Nissan Skyline GTR was initially put into production on May 22, 1989 to meet the required 5000 cars to allow for racing homologation. But with critical acclaim by the motoring press and with heavy demand by the public for the car, Nissan decided to allow an unlimited production run which went on sale in August 1989. With a new 2.6 Liter twin-turbo all wheel drive system designed by Nismo, it was put into production as the R32 Nissan Skyline GTR. The total production run was 43,394 units. White is the national racing color of Japan in international motor-sport, which explains the above average number of white GTR's.

The list of accomplishments it has acheived race track is quite impressive. It includes five consecutive championship wins in the all Japanese Touring Car Championships and over 200 race wins, plus the unofficial lap record for a production car at the world-famous Nurburgring. Just about every part of the R32 has been developed and refined on the race track.
It is basically a racing car for the road and is not quite as idiot-proof as the newer model's which is both good and bad. In the right hands the R32 is extremely fast, but requires a lot more skill than the aim and fire R34 and R35. It's not quite as forgiving, but much more rewarding and potentially a lot faster.
As a road car reached new heights of sophistication. With such developments as Multi-link suspension both front and rear, it also had an electronically controlled intelligent four-wheel drive and "Hicas" four-wheel steering. A 2.6-liter 24-valve straight-six engine boosted to 280PS by a pair of ceramic turbochargers. this car truly moved the bar higher in the Japanese performance car market.

The JTCC racer-turned-legendary Nissan supercar has been completely reworked from its potent, hi-tech, industry-changing weapon wrapped in a stealthy silhouette to a creature with claws, with a vicious snarl, and much more visual bravado.
The Nissan Skyline R32 Pandem has nothing to hide in this form: a thoroughly massaged engine mated to a high-pressure turbo (adjustable from the cabin) now produce up to 821 hp on full boost, and kept in check with much fatter rubber nestled tightly within generously swelled fender flares. You have your choice of three different street tires for high speed cruising, drifting or touge pursuits, and even a semi-slick to relive this R32’s famous, record-setting Nordschleife runs.
Enjoy the versatility of this reimagined R32, and show the world that legend has nothing to hide.
